Our program is designed to provide younger students with open-ended challenges that allow for creation and innovation by engaging in hands-on design, engineering, and programming of interactive robots and drones.
Working with robots in a collaborative game format is a very powerful tool to engage students and enhance math and science skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. Through participation in RDL Jr., students will develop the essential life skills needed to become the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers in our global society.
The 2023 RDL Jr. “Three Ring Circus” challenge, presented by STREAMWORKS, is designed to inspire younger students to develop a lifelong passion for learning and pursuing educational and career opportunities in STEM fields by implementing real-world STEM-related problems that require innovative and critical thinking to find solutions.
